Women from diverse professional backgrounds got a chance to engage and network with each other during an International Women’s Day dinner.

Organized by Supamamas in partnership with LG Electronics East Africa at the Golden Tulip Hotel in Westlands, the event saw women exchange ideas on motherhood, career development, and financial matters.

Under the theme, ‘Empowering the Working Mum’ the event provided an opportunity for women to celebrate their achievements and share valuable resources for personal and professional growth.

The participants also got a chance to interact with LG’s latest technologies that are designed to heighten the quality of life for women professionals.

On display were LG’s newest home appliances, including washing machines and dryers, microwave ovens, and refrigerators, all of which are designed to streamline household tasks and create more quality time for families.  Home entertainment units, including top-of-the-line televisions and sound systems, were also showcased.

“At LG, we recognize the central role of women in our society, especially in regards to the multiple roles they play every day in both their work environments and their homes. On this International Women’s Day, we sought to celebrate them in a unique way that gives them time to unwind, but also the opportunity to interact and share notes with others from different professional experiences,” said LG Electronics Managing Director, Dong Won Lee.

Supamamas, the co-organizer of the gala, is a respected Marketing and Events company based in Nairobi, dedicated to connecting companies and brands with mothers, experts, and each other. Their commitment to empowering women aligns perfectly with LG Electronics’ values, making this partnership a natural fit and a resounding success.
